Chapter 2- A Debt is Due

Characters Featured within this chapter~ Cozzy, Rothy, Several knights and a Unknown Character??

Setting- Nighttime in the Kingdom of Borealis.

Knights were patrolling the city as it was past Curfew, however one knight was more on edge than others, Rothy who was watching over the church seemed to be acting rather peculiar to what they would usually, he would constantly shake or have tiny micro expressions that would make him seem nervous, from clenching his fists or randomly growling, Something was clearly wrong but the question was What? Is there something that remains to be seen about this "Knight"? Before Rothy had a second to relax, he suddenly noticed something in the corner of his eye that reminded him of the individual that he had spotted earlier on. Pouncing into energy he started to chase this unknown individual down.

"HEY.... YOU THERE STOP NOW. DONT YOU KNOW ITS PAST CURFEW"

The other knights looked at Rothy in utter confusion, it appears that they couldn't actually see what he was chasing, they thought he was going crazy, they looked all over yet saw nothing so they decided to approach him.

Rothy appeared to be having some form of panic attack, His claws were gripping into his fur, his eyes getting darker and becoming more red as time went on, this was not usual something seemed to be possessing him, was this the myth known as "Zakaroth" this demonic being who would possess others through panic attacks and drive them to do insane things such as setting fire to things. However, could this mean????

Knight 2: "R-rothy??? You ok there?" Pets rothy on the head, Rothy lets out a snap and a growl

Knight 1: "Rothy, Are you feeling alright there, you seem to be chasing something, however we couldn't see anything or anyone?"

Rothy, clearly confused and perplexed, looks at them with utter confusion, tilting his head almost like some kind of innocent puppy.

"W-what do you mean?? Couldn't you see the cloaked individual over there? The one running?"

Knight 2: "There's no one there, do you need to get yourself checked out, you're acting quite umm strange"

Out of Nowhere, Cozzy started to approach them, clearly frustrated her fur glowing a much darker ton of red than normal, ears pinned up watching the guard with a deadly gaze, This in turn leading the guards to let out soft whimpers before returning to normal standing with seriousness and prosperity. A few seconds later, Cozzy Speaks in a aggressive tone.

" Have you guys spotted anything suspicious or anything matching the description Rothy gave you"

The Knights looked at Rothy with a suspicious look before turning back to look at Cozzy

Knight 1: "No my Queen, However there is a interesting development with well Rothy"

Cozzy looks over at Rothy who is whimpering softly

"And what may that be hmm?? Well Rothy??"

Rothy, Afraid that he may reveal this unknown secret to the queen, scurried of into a corner, folding into a ball shaking, Cozzy spotting the unease, walked over to Rothy sitting next to him.

"Hey, you know you can tell me anything right, your my top knight, im not going to judge you for it"

The other guards growl and scowl at Rothy and Cozzy, makin Rothy whimper

"Alright Guards, you are dismissed"

Rothy still whimpering is unable to mutter anything however for four words which could only spell doom and danger among the horizon

"A Debt is Due"
